Job summary

HHM CPAs is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide first-level technical support for employees across the firm. The role resolves routine hardware/software issues, assists with onboarding/offboarding, and delivers professional customer service to support daily operations.

This position is onsite in Pensacola, FL and participates in after-hours on-call rotation during tax season. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of help desk experience, strong customer service, and a solid IT foundation

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 1–3 years in a help desk or technical support role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets promptly.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Assist with user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support password resets, MFA, and basic security requests.
• Configure and deploy computers and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support printers, scanners, and document management systems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors.
• Maintain accurate incident/resolution documentation.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation during tax season.
