Job summary

MKS2 Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Field Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support and IT infrastructure assessments for government facilities. You will maintain health, performance, security, and compliance of end-user devices, conference room tech, and network infrastructure.

Travel between designated government offices, perform wellness checks, assist end users, and ensure compliance with government IT policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field or equivalent combo.
• 3–7 years in desktop support, field services, IT operations or help desk.
• Experience with Windows, enterprise apps, and network connectivity.
• Experience in government or highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT infrastructure assessments and wellness checks.
• Support end users, troubleshoot devices, apps, and networks.
• Inspect conference rooms and collaboration tech for readiness.
• Perform network performance tests and document findings.
• Manage IT assets, lifecycle disposal, and ticketing processes.
• Travel between government office locations as required.
