Job summary
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an onsite Field Services Support professional to manage day-to-day end-user support across client locations in Des Moines, IA. The role covers IMAC actions, device provisioning, and incident resolution with travel between sites as needed.
Responsibilities include handling VIP/escalations, asset tagging, CMDB updates and coordination with Service Desk and vendor teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum education aligned with IT support or engineering
- Experience with ITIL processes and IT service management tools
- Strong Windows and MacOS endpoint experience, plus M365 and identity/security tools
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day onsite end-user support across client locations
- Own IMAC requests and device provisioning for end users
- Handle password resets and hardware/software troubleshooting
- Coordinate with Service Desk, L3 teams, network, server and vendors
- Maintain asset records, CMDB and lifecycle documentation
- Provide desk-side support for devices and peripherals
- Plan onsite support for infrastructure projects and migrations
- Ensure ITIL-compliant processes and security best practices
