Job summary

Würth Elektronik is seeking an IT Field Service Support to be the first contact for end users needing hardware and software assistance, ensuring reliable operation of desktops, printers, network gear, and business apps in a distribution center and office environment. The onsite role at the Watertown, SD office supports global Würth divisions and requires strong communication and ticketing discipline.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree with focus in computer science or information systems
2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and help desk support experience
Understanding of LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, routers and switches
A+ Certification and ITIL Foundation preferred
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Responsibilities

Serve as a first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance
Assist end users through in-person and remote support, phone, and ticketing system
Resolve issues, escalate when needed, and document actions and resolutions
Configure, deploy and troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, VOIP, CRM and related applications
