Job summary

Würth Industry USA seeks an IT Field Service Support to serve as the first contact for end users needing hardware and software assistance. You will support desktop PCs, printers, network equipment, and business applications, both on-site at the Watertown, SD office and remotely, with ticket-based workflows and SLA compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in help desk and hardware troubleshooting, familiarity with AD, M365, VPN, and IT security practices, plus willingness to travel up to 25% and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with focus in computer science, information systems or related field (preferred Bachelor’s).
• 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and help desk support experience.
• Understanding of network technologies (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, Routers, Switches).
• A+ Certification and ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance.
• Assist end users through in-person and remote support, phone, and ticketing system.
• Support global Würth partners by resolving issues and ensuring SLA adherence.
• Document all actions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Procure, deploy and troubleshoot hardware to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Support and troubleshoot Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, Citrix, printers, and related systems.
• On-call availability and occasional travel to company locations.
