Job summary

Würth IT USA is seeking an IT Field Service Support to be the first contact for end users needing hardware and software assistance. The role focuses on sustaining infrastructure for distribution centers and office environments, using in-person and remote support, phone, and a ticketing system.

The onsite position at Würth Elektronik in Watertown, SD supports multiple Würth divisions globally under the Service Desk Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and help desk support experience.
• A+ Certification and ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and high level of customer service.
• Willingness to participate in on-call after hours support rotations.
• Able to travel to company locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance.
• Provide on-site and remote support, phone, and ticketing system assistance.
• Support global Würth business partners by resolving issues and adhering to SLAs.
• Document actions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Procure, deploy and troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Administer IT systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, and Citrix products.
• Promote IT security best practices and assist with onboarding and asset management.
• Will occasionally travel and work extended onsite as required by business needs.
