Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an IT Desktop Technician II in Houston, onsite, to configure, install, and repair PC hardware and peripherals. You will work with end-users on data migration and coordinate with vendors for repairs while upholding security and software licensing standards.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, non-field, supporting desktop teams and providing guidance on hardware issues. A+ certification is preferred; 3 years of IT/PC experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in an IT or PC-related field which includes experience in hardware configuration.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and repair PC hardware and peripherals according to established procedures.
• Contact end-users to define and perform data migration requirements.
• Monitor trouble tickets and coordinate with vendors for equipment repair.
• Adhere to facility security measures, safety standards, and software licensing procedures.
• Assist in setting up PCs and peripherals for special requests.
• Lend guidance to desktop support teams on hardware-related issues.
• Provide assistance to others as directed.
