Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking undergraduate IT Desktop Support Interns for Spring 2027, onsite at our Fairfield, Ohio headquarters. This role offers hands-on experience in configuring Windows workstations, troubleshooting software/hardware, and supporting users across departments.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time as undergraduates (2nd year+), with 3.0+ GPA, available to work 24 hours/week, and able to engage with diverse teams while learning new tools and networking

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (2nd year or above preferred) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be able to work at least 24 hours per week.
• All majors welcome to apply; transcripts required (unofficial acceptable).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Learn new development tools and technical stacks through hands-on projects.
• Build/configure Windows workstations for associates.
• Perform advanced software/hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and respond to user questions.
• Track and update open calls; assist with documenting, maintaining or upgrading hardware and software systems.
