Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking a Technology Implementation Technician to prepare, image, configure, and deploy endpoint devices while supporting warehouse operations. This onsite role at the Technology Innovation Center in Pawtucket, RI requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma, with duties including OS installs, imaging, asset tagging, and project support. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

– 4:30 p.m. Local travel may be required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience with PC hardware, device deployment, imaging, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and networking concepts.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Willingness to learn, strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as needed (25% travel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, image, configure, test, and label laptops, desktops, and related IT equipment.
• Install operating systems, firmware updates, drivers, and approved software.
• Use deployment and imaging tools to configure devices per specs.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and quality checks; escalate as needed.
• Support warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and asset tagging.
• Maintain accurate records and meet turnaround times for projects.
• Provide onsite customer support and assist on enterprise migration projects when scheduled.
