Job summary

Freenome is seeking an Inventory Specialist I (Contractor) to join the Inventory Operations team at our Brisbane, CA campus and South San Francisco warehouse. You will receive, store, track, and distribute materials for R&D, clinical and commercial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliant workflows.

You will work with scientists, operations, supply chain, and finance to maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and support material availability across locations.FLT forklift training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to load and drive a cargo van with clean driving record.
• Forklift operation ability; training/certification provided.
• At least 1+ year in inventory/warehouse in a regulated environment.
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; stand/walk for long periods.
• Experience with ERP transactions; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple workflows with good judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; MS Office and Google Suites.
• Willing to work outside regular hours; Tue–Sat schedule; overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials for commercial, clinical and R&D operations.
• Prepare and ship outbound materials per DOT regulations.
• Maintain inventory controls and SOX/compliance procedures.
• Keep accurate records of inbound/outbound materials.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Enter data in ERP with high detail and accuracy.
• Review expiration reports and quarantine or dispose materials as needed.
• Fulfill inventory requests for R&D studies and production.
• Ensure material availability across labs, stockrooms and warehouses.
• Support tasks to keep locations secure and organized.
• Comply with company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
