Job summary

Werner Electric Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Services Representative to serve as the vendor partner for customers by managing their onsite inventory and ensuring accurate supply levels.

In this role, you will follow a designated route for assigned territory, update contact and inventory records, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with customers during quarterly business reviews while maintaining ERP order entry and backorder management.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience communicating with customers via email, phone and in person.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite inventory services for assigned customers following designated route.
• Maintain and update customer contact information in the Inventory Service's route guide.
• Maintain and update customers' vendor managed inventory lists, product life cycle, minimum/maximum order quantities, and locations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and service requests in a timely manner.
• Replenish customers' inventory levels based off set minimum & maximum inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory consumption levels, consult with customer, and adjust reorder points as appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of managed onsite inventory areas.
• Complete order entry and manage customer backorders in our ERP software.
• Participate in customer quarterly business reviews.
