Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an On-Site Service Specialist level 1 to deliver outstanding customer service and manage inventory at a large customer site.

The role supports procurement, order placement, and MSC ControlPoint Solutions including Vending, Vendor Managed Inventory, and Crib systems. You will engage with customer contacts to ensure satisfaction, maintain stock levels, and drive solution expansion while partnering with account teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in telephone or outside sales, storeroom/inventory management, or customer service.
• Knowledge of technical customer solutions.
• Proven track record of success and strong performance.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at large on-site locations.
• Assist with procurement, order placement, and inventory management.
• Maintain 6S standards and track activities in Salesforce.
• Monitor stock levels and restock products as needed.
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure satisfaction and growth.
• Mentor less experienced associates and promote MSC culture.
