Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is seeking an Inventory Analyst I to monitor inventory levels and maintain traceability for a startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment. You’ll identify discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel/ERP/WMS proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across departments. On-site work during a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with hands-on experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and accuracy in manufacturing/warehouse environments.
• AA/BS in related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and inventory management processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all material transactions within assigned area(s).
• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies and related errors, determining root causes.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring inaccuracies.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and assist with material handling and other Inventory Control duties.
• Help prevent manufacturing downtime in assigned areas.
• Perform regular component cycle counts as required.
• Execute inventory transactions and reporting in customer systems as needed.
• Contribute to development and implementation of materials management systems to improve control.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, program mgmt, and plant personnel.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental policies and company procedures.
