Job summary

Jabil is seeking an IT Support Technician (On-site) for our Prince George, VA facility to support a new factory startup building IT infrastructure and onboarding manufacturing staff.

You will provide technical support for PC, server, hardware, and software, assist with deployments, and work with IT leadership, facilities, and vendors during startup and steady-state operations. On-site shift Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A+ certification desired
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications and utilities

Responsibilities

• Load and verify software packages
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues
• Install and configure PCs and peripherals
• Resolve site-level incident management requests
• Populate Knowledge Database and Configuration Management Database where appropriate
• Provide phone-based or remote support for off-site users
• Administer user accounts using Active Directory
• Support IT infrastructure during factory build and ramp
• Monitor Service Desk queues and resolve tickets in a timely manner
