Job summary

RS Group is seeking an on-site storeroom laborer to manage inventory and assist customers in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will receive, stock, issue, and track materials, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, performing cycle counts, updating ERP systems, and maintaining orderly storage. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills required.
• Basic computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn part identification and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all site safety and security procedures; perform tasks safely and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers; report concerns to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOPs.
• Unpack purchased material, verify against packing slip and PO; enter receiving and inventory data in ERP.
• Issue materials to client; pull, stage and kit as required.
• Place received material in proper storage; tag, repack, deliver as needed.
• Process returns for unused material per SOP guidelines.
• Prepare material for return to vendor and parts for repair per SOPs.
• Perform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies to Manager and Buyer.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by count and location; update barcodes and relocations in ERP.
• Verify on-hand quantities to identify reorder needs.
• Keep storeroom clean and organized; meet minimum standards.
• Support corporate initiatives and assist with special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
