Job summary

RS is seeking an on-site storeroom associate to handle receiving, stocking, issuing and inventory control. You will work with ERP systems to track parts, perform cycle counts and ensure precise inventory levels for internal and external customers.

Strong customer service and accurate data entry are essential. Responsibilities include unpacking stock, verifying against packing slips and POs, and coordinating with clients to deliver materials or locate items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn inventory systems and ERP software.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work approach.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and security procedures and report hazards.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Unpack, verify, and record received stock in ERP/inventory systems.
• Issue materials to clients, pull, stage, and kit as required.
• Move received material to storage, tag, and repack as needed.
• Process returns and prep parts for vendor returns or repair.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies for resolution.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by counts and location updates.
• Keep storeroom clean and organized; support special projects.
