Job summary

nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. in Longmont, CO seeks an Integration Test Engineer to facilitate later steps of system integration, perform hardware/software checks, and support field testing. You will work with SW leads and maintain test hardware.

Applicants must have US DoD security clearance or be eligible, and willingness to travel up to 50% for field ops. Proficiency in C#, MATLAB, Python, C++, and GitLab is desirable for multi-disciplinary hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• Experience with hardware/software integration is preferred.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Work with SW leads to integrate devices on system.
• Maintain internally owned test hardware.
• Facilitate development on test hardware.
• Operate Laser Weapons systems and support field testing.
• Develop documentation for integration production and system operation.
