Job summary

nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. is seeking an Electronics and Integration Technician in Longmont, CO. The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing or assembly and an Associate degree or technical equivalent.

Onsite work with potential for DoD clearance is required. You will perform cable/harness assembly, troubleshoot and integrate systems to meet strict performance and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electronics testing or assembly.
• Associate Degree or Technical equivalent is required.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB intake & validation, document failures, and assist engineers with in-house modifications.
• Assemble & update cables: copper and fiber for lab setups and system integration.
• Kit & track integration materials: intake, label, and kit electronics and cables; maintain material tracking.
• Execute system integration: install and route electronics and cables using engineering docs; ensure proper placement and connectivity.
• Support assembly validation: assist engineers in validating sub-assemblies and full system builds.
• Maintain lab equipment: organize EE lab tools and coordinate with lab manager on calibration.
