Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine is hiring a Work Ready Specialist (Athletic Trainer) for our Hampton, VA site. This full-time role focuses on injury prevention, first aid triage, and wellness programs within a corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field, active athletic trainer licensure, CPR/BLS, and strong ergonomic assessment skills. On-site requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and daily interaction with employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Athletic Training or related field.
• Current Athletic Trainer license in good standing for states served.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote injury prevention and first aid in the workplace.
• Provide on-site athletic training support and wellness coaching.
• Design and lead warm-up, stretching, and mobility routines for shifts.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend safety improvements.
• Maintain records and report findings to the Project Manager.
