Job summary

Ardmore Roderick, a full‑service infrastructure solutions firm, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join the team onsite at the client location in Florida. You will support the PMO, coordinate multiple projects, and track performance against baselines, ensuring timely escalation of variances.

The role requires a strong background in engineering or related fields, maritime project experience, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, ACC, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in project coordination or project management support.
• Demonstrated experience working on maritime or port projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, ACC and MS Project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a direct support resource to the client’s PMO, assisting in coordination and delivery of multiple projects.
• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination and execution of projects within the client’s portfolio.
• Track project performance against scope, schedule and budget baselines and escalate variances.
• Coordinate activities between internal departments, contractors, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, meeting minutes and status reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify alignment with project plans.
• Review contractors pay applications and change orders for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Assist in coordinating project activities within an active port environment to minimize disruption to business operations.
