Actalent is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to inspect, test, and troubleshoot industrial equipment on the production floor in Mundelein, IL. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, experience in equipment testing or industrial maintenance, and ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Experience with equipment testing, manufacturing, mechanical/electrical assembly, or industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Read electrical schematics/diagrams to troubleshoot wiring and system issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical testing of industrial systems and components.
• Conduct operational testing according to established test procedures.
• Inspect components, electrical wiring, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Read electrical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot wiring and system issues.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to verify assembly and system performance.
• Document test results and identify nonconformances or corrective actions.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve products and processes.
