Job summary

Versova in Canby, OR is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic / Industrial Technician to coordinate maintenance across multiple processing facilities and lead continuous improvement in equipment performance.

Requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance (or 6+ in automotive), with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC programming, and OSHA/food safety standards. Some travel and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or 6+ years in automotive mechanics.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience in PLC programming, automation systems, and industrial software.
Experience with OSHA regulations and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex industrial machinery and systems.
Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technicians.
Analyze and optimize equipment performance using advanced diagnostic tools.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for all systems and procedures.
Collaborate with management to improve maintenance strategies and reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, and USDA requirements.
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs.
Lead root cause analysis for critical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
