Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for an onsite role in Grand Prairie, TX. The position is temporary to direct, with a 3rd shift (11pm–5am) and a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work orders. A HS diploma or GED is required, with strong maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment with strong electrical controls.
• 5+ years of troubleshooting and use of mechanical/electrical/measuring tools; intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment common to mechanical, plumbing, welding, and electrical trades.
• Troubleshoots hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
• Reads manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment and controls as necessary.
• Adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
• Installs, replaces parts and attachments per specifications.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines and tools.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work area for safe conditions.
