Job summary

Accelera in Arlington, TX is seeking a 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues and keep production lines moving. You will train on the 1st shift for 45 days before transitioning to independent 3rd shift operations, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will work with modern equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and receive tool allowances and company-provided gear.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (A or AA level).
• Proficient with bearings, shafts, gearboxes; able to read mechanical prints.
• Intermediate electrical skills; able to follow complex electrical diagrams.
• Experience installing and programming drive systems.
• Ability to rig heavy components using forklift equipment.
• Experience with setup and precision calibration of industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with steam system operations and OSHA safety requirements.
• Basic digital literacy (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve, and rebuild mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components to maintain efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance of corrugator and converting machinery and specialized equipment.
• Perform reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Repair gearboxes, conveyors, and shafts using heavy equipment.
• Ensure machines are configured and calibrated for consistent quality across shifts.
• Troubleshoot with electrical schematics and replace motors, drives, and sensors.
• Maintain site infrastructure including pumps and steam systems.
• Manage hydraulic system repairs to prevent leaks.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and hand off to 1st shift for continuity.
• Uphold safety standards and keep a tidy workspace.
