Job summary

Concentra seeks an experienced Industrial Athletic Trainer for an onsite role in Fayetteville, TN. You will promote employee wellbeing, coordinate return-to-work and injury prevention programs, and work with health and safety leadership to create a healthier workforce.

Responsibilities include managing musculoskeletal injuries, performing ergonomic assessments, and maintaining patient care records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable.
• Job-Related Experience: 1 year.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses and assess range of motion, strength, reflexes, and functional status.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured workers to the appropriate clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases through claim capture and follow-up.
• Coordinate rehab and return-to-work (RTW) programs with HR and management.
• Develop and maintain patient care records and write reports.
