Job summary

ECI Group is seeking an on-site Instrument & Electrical Maintenance Planner in the New Orleans area (Waggaman) for an 18-24 month engagement. The role focuses on daily planning of Instrument & Electrical work, preparing detailed work packages, estimating craft hours and materials, and maintaining a robust backlog to support maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required with 5+ years in I&E maintenance/planning.
• Associate Degree plus 2+ years planning experience also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance work orders in SAP by analyzing steps and parts.
• Prepare detailed work packages with drawings, permits, tools, and materials.
• Develop craft hour and material cost estimates for work orders.
• Maintain backlog and communicate status to leadership.
• Identify safety requirements and ensure compliance in plans.
• Coordinate with procurement for spares and contractor work.
