Job summary

ECI Group in the New Orleans area is seeking an Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Maintenance Planner for an 18- to 24-month assignment. This onsite role supports major chemical plant operations and requires US citizenship or permanent residency.

You will lead maintenance planning for I&E work, develop detailed work packages, estimate craft hours, coordinate materials, and ensure safe, compliant execution with SAP-based workflows and close collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years of I&E maintenance planning experience in manufacturing.
• Associate degree with 3+ years of I&E maintenance planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work packages and job plans with equipment, parts, materials, documentation, and tools.
• Plan maintenance work orders in SAP by analyzing steps and identifying parts, materials, and personnel requirements.
• Maintain maintenance backlog and publish planning metrics for the team.
• Develop and archive job plans, review completed work orders for accuracy, and coordinate with procurement for material availability.
