Job summary

Engineers and Constructors International Inc. in the New Orleans area seeks an Instrument & Electrical Planner to manage daily planning of maintenance work for a major chemical facility.

You will develop work packages, estimate craft hours, review drawings, and coordinate with procurement and operations to ensure safe, timely execution. This is an on-site role requiring strong SAP skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years as an I&E maintenance technician/specialist and 3+ years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in manufacturing OR
• Associate Degree with 3+ years as I&E technician/specialist and 2+ years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work packages and job plans with equipment, parts, materials and tools.
• Plan maintenance work orders in SAP and determine parts, materials, and personnel requirements.
• Review drawings and ensure work plans are properly authorized and safe.
