Engineers and Constructors International Inc. (ECI) invites applications for an onsite Field Engineer in the New Orleans area (Waggaman).

This 18-24 month assignment supports operations, maintenance, reliability, and capital projects at our chemical manufacturing site. The candidate will provide frontline engineering support, perform field inspections, coordinate with contractors, participate in startups, and help drive safety, process safety, and continuous improvement in a high-hazard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, refining, or continuous process industries.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification (or able to obtain) and TWIC card or ability to obtain one; experience with PSM is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to production and maintenance teams.
• Perform routine field inspections of process systems, piping, rotating equipment, and fixed assets.
• Review and resolve field technical issues during construction, commissioning, and operation.
• Develop engineering recommendations to improve safety, reliability, and performance.
• Maintain documentation including redlines and engineering records.
