Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace company, seeks an HVAC/R technician for our Tewksbury, MA facility. The role requires installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems aligned with DoD security requirements. You will interpret wiring diagrams, troubleshoot burners, and manage DDC/pneumatic controls.

The position is onsite with a 1st shift schedule (6:00am–2:30pm) and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Massachusetts licensure and EPA 608 certification are mandatory, with strong teamwork and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET or two years of trade school experience.
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's license is required.
• Current EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals to install, repair and service HVAC/R systems.
• Maintain, repair and adjust oil/gas burners and boilers as needed.
• Troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment malfunctions and perform follow-up actions.
• Install or modify HVAC piping and controls, including DDC and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure safety, tidy work area and proper documentation of maintenance activities.
