Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled HVAC/R technician for an onsite role in Woburn, MA. The candidate will install, service, and repair HVAC systems, burners, pumps, and associated controls, while complying with safety and security requirements.

Required MA Refrigeration Technician license and EPA 608, along with a high school diploma or trade school background. The position offers a 1st shift, on-site work with a $10k sign-on bonus and union representation.

Qualifications

• MA Refrigeration Technician license and EPA 608 certification required.
• High School diploma or trade school background acceptable.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems per drawings and manuals.
• Troubleshoot burners, controls, pumps, and related equipment.
• Perform boiler and combustion chamber maintenance and inspections.
• Adjust and calibrate DDC and pneumatic controls for efficiency.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and record-keeping of work performed.
