Chugach Government Solutions is recruiting an HVAC Supervisor for our Stennis Space Center, Mississippi site. You will lead HVAC technicians, plan maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance to keep facility operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC and 2+ years in a supervisory role, with EPA certification and a strong background in building automation. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technician training preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Five+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
• Two+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC technician activities.
• Plan, assign, and prioritize preventive maintenance and projects.
• Inspect work for compliance with standards and codes.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and guide technicians.
• Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and parts.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for reliability.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA/regulatory compliance.
• Prepare work schedules and performance evaluations.
• Train and mentor HVAC personnel.
• Coordinate with maintenance departments, vendors, customers.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, controlling maintenance expenses; maintain records.
• Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours support.
• Promote safe work environment through safety meetings.
