Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform daily HVAC maintenance across facilities in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist HVAC mechanics on complex tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of HVAC experience, Universal CFC certification, Hepatitis B vaccination within 6 months, safety awareness, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years HVAC service/maintenance experience.
• Universial CFC certification.
• Hepatitis B vaccination within 6 months.
• Familiarity with HVAC codes and safety practices (PPE, lockout/tagout).
• Ability to interpret instructions and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC mechanical work independently on equipment.
• Use diagrams to locate failures and identify root causes.
• Coordinate with personnel to identify materials and parts.
• Submit outage requests and respond to emergencies.
• Perform on-call and preventive maintenance duties.
