Job summary

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Technician certification (Universal Refrigerant Handling) is required.
• Associate degree or HVAC certificate preferred; relevant maintenance experience acceptable.
• Experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative and routine maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Repair, maintain and overhaul heating and cooling systems and components.
• Monitor and adjust EMS alarms and schedules for HVAC operations.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, kitchen and laboratory equipment as needed.
• Operate with safety procedures and coordinate with electricians for electrical work.
