Job summary

EPA 608 certification is required. Work is performed on campus facilities with attention to safety, accuracy, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Technician certification (Universal Refrigerant Handling) held.
• Associate degree or certificate in HVAC with practical maintenance experience.
• Experience operating HVAC/R systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventative and routine maintenance and documents activity on equipment and systems to ensure optimal and safe operation
• Monitors, tests, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems, related equipment, and controls according to established policies and procedures
• Develops and schedules operational work plans for staff occasionally
• Receives, prioritizes, and responds to service requests according to timelines and policies
• Identifies, prioritizes, troubleshoots, and escalates system problems and repair needs
