Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Accepted as Journeyman by the union.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• License/training card as required by local law.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support availability.
• Experience mentoring less experienced technicians.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Current first aid/CPR card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Conduct warranty service inspection and testing of systems.
• Educate customers on use, maintenance schedules, and manuals.
