Job summary

Daikin Applied is hiring a full-time HVAC Journeyman in Fargo, ND, onsite. You will service commercial and industrial equipment, participate in comprehensive training, and work on chillers, rooftops, boilers, and more.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety and quality, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize HVAC systems, lead hands-on rebuilds, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent.
• Journeyman status by the union.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality (chillers, rooftops, boilers, etc.).
• Repair and replace defective equipment or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of HVAC equipment.
• Educate customers on proper use and maintenance.
• Lead apprentices and supervise on-the-job tasks.
• Record billing, inventory, and timekeeping accurately.
• Download programs into equipment and analyze trend data for performance.
