Job summary

Daikin Applied, a world-leading HVAC company, is hiring a full-time HVAC Journeyman in Fargo, ND. You will service a range of commercial and industrial equipment, including chillers, rooftops, and boilers, and participate in ongoing training programs.

You will lead repairs, diagnostics, and installations while mentoring apprentices and coordinating with regional trainers. A valid driver's license and union journeyman status are required, with benefits through the local union.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree or technical HVAC certification (preferred).
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Current first aid / CPR card (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Service equipment including chillers, fan coils, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers and condensers.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Conduct warranty service inspections and testing of systems.
• Educate customers on proper use, maintenance schedules, and manuals.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associates Degree or technical school HVAC certification (preferred)
