Job summary

SLB is seeking an HSE Specialist to support site leadership in building a proactive Health, Safety and Environment culture and align HSE with site goals. This role focuses on integrating HSE into line management responsibilities and improving safety outcomes on site.

The candidate will work with managers to implement the HSE Management System, identify local risks, and coordinate training and audits. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0–2 years of HSE experience are required; familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in HSE, EHS, Safety or related areas.
• Internships, co-ops, or academic projects in safety or environmental management are valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop managers' awareness and ensure HSE policies are integral to line management objectives.
• Assist line management with implementing HSE Management System and monitoring objectives.
• Advise management on corrective actions & coordinate HSE training of personnel, including contractors.
• Keep HSE documentation updated and available onsite; monitor compliance and audits.
• Analyze HSE trends for the location and promote continuous improvement.
