Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives across operations in the United States. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety culture, and expert guidance on HSE programs and best practices.

You will apply OSHA and DOT knowledge, lead investigations and audits, and partner with field teams to strengthen safety performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Health, Safety & Environmental experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and DOT compliance.
• Experience conducting investigations, audits, and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company HSE standards and policies.
• Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE programs and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitor workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE training and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Track, analyze, and report leading and lagging safety indicators.
• Provide guidance and regulatory interpretation on health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Partner with management and field teams to strengthen HSE performance and operational excellence.

• Capable of working independently and acting as a resource for less experienced team members.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional HSE certifications are a plus.
