Job summary

Actalent is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support safety and environmental compliance on a Santa Ana manufacturing floor. The role covers audits, incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement.

You’ll work onsite in a dynamic environment, collaborating with operations, engineering, and maintenance while training on internal standards. Strong OSHA knowledge and field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and HSE compliance.
• Hands-on audits experience, including external audits.
• Experience with inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple HSE priorities.
• Bilingual Spanish/English for safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external HSE audits, including preparation, documentation, findings, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements, company HSE procedures, and applicable environmental requirements.
• Conduct workplace safety and environmental inspections.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
• Identify hazards and drive corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Support JSAs, risk assessments, and safe‑work procedures.
• Coordinate HSE orientations, recurring training, and employee safety communications.
• Maintain HSE records, metrics, training documentation, and compliance information.
• Support environmental programs involving waste, recycling, wastewater, and air quality.
• Maintain an active presence on the manufacturing floor and reinforce safe work practices.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
