Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a full-time Safety Manager for on-site facilities in Stockton, CA. You will lead safety programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and minimize injuries across operations.

The role requires knowledge of federal/state OSHA regulations, incident tracking, risk assessments, and coordination with regulators and internal teams. Spanish is a plus; MS Office proficiency is expected. Salary is disclosed with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state and local OSHA regulations.
• Plan and coordinate safety programs and risk assessments.
• Experience in tracking incidents and injuries; familiarity with reporting requirements.
• Spanish speaking a PLUS.
• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track the effectiveness of Safety Programs within assigned facilities.
• Remain current with relevant regulatory requirements; serve as SME and update SOPs as needed.
• Conduct accident and claim investigations and identify root causes; recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct audits and inspections to detect hazards and ensure compliance.
• Administer PIT certification and ensure safe operating condition of equipment.
• Manage hazardous materials and environmental programs; align with EPA regulations.
• Coordinate safety training materials and communications to promote safety culture.
• Develop and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training; measure effectiveness.
• Support safety values and initiatives; improve safety metrics.
• Maintain safety records and share best practices across facilities.
