Job summary

Benchmark seeks a dedicated Environmental Health & Safety professional to administer and improve EHS programs at our Santa Ana site. The role emphasizes hands-on engagement on the manufacturing floor, partnering with leaders and employees to maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.

Preferred is a 4-year degree with at least 5 years in EHS, with experience in box builds, boards, or electronics environments.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 year degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum 5 years experience
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations desired

Responsibilities

• Conduct all environmental, health and safety related training
• Act as the Environmental Management Representative (EMR) for ISO-14001 EMS
• Perform scheduled plant safety, environmental and ISO-14001 inspections/audits
• Assist with work related injuries and workers’ compensation issues
• Lead post-accident drug testing coordination
• Lead hazardous waste program and related recordkeeping
• Maintain records related to workers’ compensation or environmental programs and ensure compliance
