Job summary

Gemma Power Systems seeks a Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resource Business Partner/Employee Care Field Coordinator for project-based work in Texas. This in-person role supports the full employee lifecycle on active projects nationwide, coordinating onboarding, records, benefits, training, compliance, and employee relations from construction sites to the Home Office.

You will travel to project sites across the U.S., support I-9/E-Verify, and help implement field HR systems while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience (generalist or similar role)
• Construction or project-based industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with HRIS software — ADP Workforce Now a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site HR partner with project leadership and Home Office to support the full employee lifecycle
• Recruit and onboard craft and staff employees, including pre-employment requirements
• Own on-site onboarding and orientation with Safety Team
• Maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS; generate reports and audits
• Administer I‑9 and E‑Verify in line with regulations
• Support benefits administration and open enrollment communications
• Coordinate with Home Office HR team on training and compliance tracking
• Guide consistent application of employment policies and practices
• Assist with employee relations, attendance, performance management, and investigations
• Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, etc.) in coordination with Home Office
• Support separations, unemployment claims, and off‑boarding processes
• Assist with 401(k) administration and HR systems deployment
• Travel and relocation to support project sites across the U.S.
• Overtime/weekend work as project needs require
