Job summary

Hunting is an energy services provider focused on supporting major oil and gas operations. The Subsea Technology division seeks an HR Manager based in Spring, TX, overseeing HR and payroll for Spring and Stafford locations.

This on-site role partners with leadership to implement HR initiatives, recruit, train, and manage performance while ensuring legal compliance and accurate payroll. The HR Manager will travel to sites, supervise the Payroll Specialist, and serve as a trusted partner to

Qualifications

• Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Five years of experience in Human Resources management.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR and payroll operations for multiple sites, ensuring policy compliance and payroll accuracy.
• Lead talent acquisition, employee relations, training, and performance management.
• Manage recruiting in UKG and partner with management to source and select candidates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; coordinate HR audits and reporting.
• Travel to each location to provide HR support and build teams; supervise Payroll Specialist.
