Job summary

Jabil is seeking an HR Generalist II to provide on-site HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Gurnee, IL. You will advise managers and hourly staff on policies, handle employee relations, and support training and onboarding programs.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Preferred candidates have 2–3+ years in HR Generalist roles in manufacturing, experience with HRIS/LMS, and knowledge of employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience handling employee relations matters and investigations.
• Experience with HRIS and LMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR partner to employees and leaders, guiding on policies and practices.
• Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, support conflict resolution.
• Partner with leaders on attendance, performance management, and development initiatives.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate training programs and ensure compliance training completion.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
