Job summary

Lennox is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist for its HVAC Parts Distribution Center. The role provides hands‑on HR support to hourly staff and frontline leaders, focusing on onboarding, employee relations, and compliance in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

You will partner with site leadership to drive engagement and retention while ensuring policy guidance and HR administration are delivered with confidentiality and sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience supporting hourly employees in distribution/manufacturing/supply chain environments.
• Experience onboarding, orientation, employee relations, investigations, performance documentation, and frontline leader coaching.
• Ability to build trust through regular floor presence and effective partnerships with employees and site leaders.
• Knowledge of safety practices, employee engagement, recognition, retention, and community involvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with HR systems; Kronos and SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑touch onboarding experiences from previews through phased training and buddy systems.
• Lead new employee orientation covering expectations, policies, benefits, safety, culture, and resources.
• Conduct 30/60/90-day check‑ins to identify issues and support retention.
• Coach supervisors to provide milestone check‑ins and timely issue resolution.
• Advise on policies, attendance, performance, workplace expectations, and employee concerns.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to resolve payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave questions.
