Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist – HVAC Parts Distribution Center to serve as a hands-on partner to hourly employees and frontline leaders onsite. The role covers onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, strong floor presence, and proficiency with Kronos and SAP. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years HR Generalist experience supporting hourly employees in a distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar operational environment.
• Experience supporting onboarding, orientation, employee relations, investigations, performance documentation, and frontline leader coaching.
• Ability to build trust through regular floor presence, responsiveness, practical problem solving, and strong partnership with employees and site leaders.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding new hires with high-touch onboarding from previews through training and orientation.
• Lead new employee orientation on expectations, benefits, safety, culture, and resources.
• Conduct 30-, 60-, 90-day check-ins to identify concerns and support retention.
• Coach supervisors for milestone check-ins and issue resolution.
• Advise on policies, attendance, performance, and workplace expectations.
• Support employee relations, investigations, and documentation with HR leadership.
• Maintain accurate HR records and confidentiality.
• Partner with Centers of Excellence on payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave questions.
• Support safety practices and site safety culture.
