Job summary

You will handle recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, HRIS administration, compensation support, and training, reporting to the HR Business Partner. This is an in-person position requiring strong communication, problem solving, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Psychology or related field, or relatable experience.
• SPHR-CA or PHR-CA certification preferred.
• 6+ years’ HR experience including leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding: support full life-cycle recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
• Employee relations & development: guide managers and employees on performance management and workplace concerns; support investigations as needed.
• Regulatory compliance: ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws; manage leaves (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL) and workers’ comp.
• HR operations & systems: administer HRIS, update job descriptions, run analytics, and support compensation data analysis.
• ADP experience is a plus; bilingual strongly preferred.
