Bayland Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations at our Montclair office, reporting to the HR Manager at our Seattle headquarters. You will assist recruiting, onboarding, people operations, performance management, leave and compliance, and offboarding for the California team.

This hands-on role is ideal for an early-career HR professional or recent graduate who enjoys working with people, learns quickly, and wants to build a strong foundation across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
• HR internship or up to 2 years in HR, recruiting, People Ops, or similar role.
• People-oriented and supportive of employees.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with managers and staff.
• Fast learner who can adopt new HR processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update job descriptions.
• Post jobs on Indeed, LinkedIn, Rippling, and other platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates.
• Maintain applicant tracking records.
• Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Collaborate with managers and IT on equipment, email, and access.
• Maintain employee records in HR systems (Rippling, etc.).
• Support PTO, attendance, timecards, and routine HR questions.
• Serve as onsite HR resource for the Montclair office.
• Support HR reporting and improve processes.
